Our Founder’s story

Why I started All That Matters?

Life has a way of reminding us of all that matters. For me, those reminders came in quick succession.

I was diagnosed with Chronic Urticaria, an unpredictable condition that left me covered in rashes and often confined at home. Soon after came Asthma, and my first attack left me panicking that I might not see my eldest son start school. Then I witnessed a fatal car accident — a near miss that shook me to my core.

All of this followed the sudden deaths of two friends in their 30s, both leaving behind young children.

What it taught me

What it taught me

Those moments stripped everything back. At the end of the day, all that matters is that my boys know just how much they are loved – every day and just in case the worst should happen.

When maternity leave ended and I considered returning to my career in Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, I felt a strong pull in a different direction. I wanted my “ducks in a row” for my own family. And I realised there must be countless other parents and partners who feel the same — a quiet guilt about not having written things down, or not having prepared for the what-ifs.

The leap

The leap

So I pivoted. I stepped away from a career helping big businesses be a force for good and poured that energy into something personal, purposeful and people-first.

With my background in corporate communications, I knew one of the most powerful tools we have is how we share our words, our values, our stories. And I wanted to make that easier for families everywhere.

Why we’re here

In today’s world, people are craving meaning, connection, and calm – but modern life often pulls us in the opposite direction.

Here’s what’s happening:

*

We're overwhelmed by noise

Your memories, all in one place. A safe, organised timeline for life’s everyday stories - to treasure, revisit, or gift to someone you love.

*

We're losing the habit of reflection

In the rush to keep up, we rarely slow down to process life’s big (and small) moments. Without reflection, values fade, memories blur, and important lessons are forgotten.

*

Connection is fraying

Despite being more digitally connected than ever, loneliness and disconnection are rising. Families struggle to stay emotionally close across distances, generations, or even within daily routines.

*

Mental health is in decline

Anxiety and burnout are at record levels. But simple, thoughtful practices - like gratitude, storytelling, and intentional time with loved ones - are proven to support emotional wellbeing.

*

We’re not preserving what matters

People want to pass on their values, love, and life stories - but few have a system to do it. The wisdom of one generation is at risk of being lost to the next.
